The Bonner Romanistik is founded at the start of the 19^th century and is considered the cradle of the Romanistik in Germany. The Bonner Romanistik has a strong research tradition in the combined fields of French, Spanish, Italian, and Latin American Linguistics, Literature, and Culture.
